Return Policy

We do not accept returns without valid reasons, however, we have a 7-day exchange policy, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a exchange.

To be eligible for a exchange, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn, unwashed, uncut or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Damages and issues

At KLD, we take quality seriously. All our fabric undergoes a thorough assessment using the standardized 4-Point Fabric Inspection System, a widely recognized industry standard for evaluating fabric defects. This system assigns point values to blemishes, and fabric is deemed acceptable based on a total score, typically allowing up to 40 points per 100 square yards.

  • Fabric is inspected before shipping to ensure it meets industry standards.
  • Minor variations, standard allowances, and industry-accepted imperfections (within the 4-Point System threshold) do not qualify for returns.
  • Cut or altered fabric cannot be returned.

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective or damaged beyond the inspection standards so we can make it right. All damage claim requests must be made within 7 days of delivery. After 7 days, all damage claims will be considered null and void.

All claims will be considered null and void if the fabric from the order has been cut or altered in anyway. In the rare case that you’ve received the incorrect fabric, kindly contact our support team within 7 days of delivery so that they may quickly resolve the issue.

Exceptions / non-returnable items

Certain types of items cannot be returned,

Non-returnable items:

  • Gift cards
  • Cutting Fees
  • Fabric that was custom cut as per customer’s request
  • Expedited Shipping Costs
  • Expedited Processing Costs
  • Swatches
  • Custom made rod pockets, table covers or other custom made items
  • Scrap boxes

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Disclosure

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. KLD takes no responsibility for any third party charges you may have incurred for sewing and/or other alterations you may have done to the fabric.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
